Zero fee, but inside an ecosystem

Crypto.com Pay's pitch is that it charges merchants no transaction fee (buyers cover network gas when paying from an external wallet). That is a real advantage on headline cost. The catch is that payments settle into a Crypto.com-hosted merchant account and the flow is designed around the Crypto.com app and ecosystem, so your money and your onboarding live with one exchange.

InfraIO Pay makes the opposite trade. It is independent and non-custodial: there is no platform account holding your balance, funds settle on-chain to a wallet only you control, and you are not tied to any single exchange's KYC, app, or off-ramp.

Where InfraIO Pay pulls ahead

Beyond custody, InfraIO is built as infrastructure: a server-side QuickCheckout API, a web SDK for popup / redirect / embed, HMAC-signed webhooks, idempotency keys, and deterministic per-order deposit addresses for exact reconciliation. You can also list your own verified ERC-20 token and accept it through the same flow, which an exchange-run gateway will not do. See the developer docs.

When Crypto.com Pay makes sense

If you are already in the Crypto.com ecosystem, want a no-code dashboard, and a zero merchant fee is the deciding factor, Crypto.com Pay is built for that. If you would rather stay independent of any one exchange, keep custody of funds in your own wallet, integrate through a developer-first API, or accept your own token, InfraIO Pay is the better fit even with a small take rate.
