Why it is different

Built so there is less to lose

Most wallets ask you to guard a list of secret words forever. InfraIO Wallet starts from the way you already unlock your phone.

A passkey, not a word listYou approve with Face ID, a fingerprint or your device passcode. There is no secret phrase to copy, photograph or get tricked into typing on a fake site.
Backup passkeysAdd another device or your password manager as a backup, so losing one phone does not mean losing your wallet.
Recovery phrase is optionalYou can save a recovery phrase as an extra safety net, or skip it. It is only required for wallets that live on a single device, and before you remove your last passkey.
You hold the keysYour funds sit on the blockchain, not with us. InfraIO cannot move your money, freeze it or approve anything for you.
One address, every networkYour wallet has the same address on every network it supports, so there is no guessing which address to share.
Clear confirmationA transaction is shown as done only after the network confirms it, together with its transaction hash and a link to the block explorer.
Multisig built inComing soon

Share control when you are ready

Every wallet starts as a multisig wallet with one signer, so it feels like any normal wallet. Later you can add people or devices to approve with you.

2 / 3

Good for families, teams and small businesses that want more than one person to agree before money moves.

Start with one signerOn day one, you are the only signer and you decide alone. Nothing extra to set up.
Add co-signersInvite another passkey, from another person or another device, or a wallet such as MetaMask, to sign alongside you.
Approvals you chooseWith two or more signers, every transaction and every change to the signers needs the agreed number of approvals, for example 2 of 3.
The address never changesAdding or removing signers does not change your wallet address, so you never have to move funds or tell anyone a new one.

Questions about InfraIO Wallet

Is InfraIO Wallet custodial?

No. It is a self-custody wallet. Your keys stay on your own devices and your funds live on the blockchain. InfraIO cannot move them. (ethereum.org, What is a crypto wallet?)

What if I lose my phone?

If you added a backup passkey on another device or in your password manager, you can use it to get back in. You can also save the optional recovery phrase. If you have neither, nobody, including us, can restore access for you, so set up a backup early. (Apple)

Do I need a seed phrase?

Not to get started. You unlock the wallet with your face, fingerprint or device passcode. A recovery phrase is optional for passkey wallets, and required only for wallets that live on a single device and before you remove your last passkey. (FIDO Alliance, Passkey wallets vs seed phrases)

When can I download it?

The iOS app, the Android app and the Chrome extension are all coming soon. None of them is available to download yet, and we will announce them here when they are.

What is multisig?

A multisig wallet needs more than one approval before money moves, for example 2 of 3. Every InfraIO Wallet will start with one signer, so it works like a normal wallet, and you will be able to add co-signers later. Multisig is coming soon and is not available yet. (Safe docs, What is a multisig wallet?)

Which networks does it support?

InfraIO Wallet works on Ethereum-compatible networks, such as Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon and BNB Smart Chain. Your address is the same on every one, and the app shows which networks are available to you.
